Those tell-tale ears, shaped like butterfly wings, must explain why this sweet dog breed came to be named Papillon, the French word for butterfly. This precious Papillon has black and white coloring, a complement to Artoria's original box in which the dog is painted in brown and white. Looking very alert and bright, this wonderful dog stands atop a periwinkle blue flower with two bright butterflies. The clasp and inside painting are both butterfly images.
