This is one of the most beautiful fish and sea scene Limoges boxes we have found. The brilliantly hand painted fish and ocean environment are detailed with shiny gold (actual karat gold is added to the paint). Two starfish stand out in relief, and an ornate metal starfish forms the clasp. Another fish is painted inside.
