We've added another Mah Jongg Limoges box to our collection. This one is hand painted in bright red and yellow. The top is painted with two Chinese characters, and the words MAH JONGG. You may notice that this is spelled differently than our Rochard box where the spelling on the case is "Mah Jong." Both are acceptable and commonly used spellings for the popular Chinese game.
Inside this great box are four playing pieces, also hand painted Limoges porcelain. The left and right sides of the box read: "The fascinating Chinese Game." The clasp is four cards, each bearing one of the playing card suits.
